Our Signature Process
It's worth noting that communication and collaboration between the designer and client play a vital role throughout the process. It is important that we lay the right foundations and manage expectations from the very beginning and believe this requires effort from both sides. Open and constructive feedback helps in refining the design and achieving a website that effectively represents the brand.
-
The Onboarding Process - allow 2-3 weeks.
Once we have established that we are aligned to work with each other you will be sent a comprehensive new client questionnaire. Upon receiving this back from you we will be in contact to arrange a time for a phone consultation to discuss your project in further detail.
We then go away and create a creative brief to ensure correct interpretation and outline scope of project with key deliverables.
Once you sign off on this we will then arrange a quote.
Once accepted we require a 20% deposit and for you to sign an agreement.
Once we receive this we will then proceed with mapping out a timeline for your project with key dates.
-
The Creative Process
With your deposit paid and creative brief signed off, design commences on the project. This can involve research, creating a moodboard, creating concepts etc.
Divergent thinking is applied - initially it’s about going far and wide, exploring ideas and concepts and presenting you with a range of options we feel appropriate for you to consider.
Convergent thinking applied - after the first round of concepts are presented we then start to eliminate and refine the options until we reach the desired outcome. Two rounds of changes are built into the job.
-
The Execution Process
With signed-off creative / design concepts whether it be for a website or brand identity, the next phase is about ensuring the key deliverables will be met and on deadline.
Print and digital applications are set up and the design concepts are applied.
There is an allowance for two rounds of changes provided it falls within the project scope. If there is scope creep we will let you know as this will incur additional costs.
For new websites there will be a handover process which involves setting up payment details in your name, transferring ownership things like that. This is done once the final payment has been received. Please note the website will still be operational before the final payment is made.
